Indices on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) ended trading higher today, rebounding from a three-day losing streak. The DSEX increased by 50.63 points to finish at 5,523.78.

The market breadth was positive, with 282 issues advancing against 54 losers, while 65 remained unchanged. This positive performance was reflected among major segments, as A-category stocks saw more winners than losers, with the B-category performing similarly. Mutual funds were also positive, with 20 advancing and one declining.

Hami Industries topped the gainers’ list, surging 9.97 percent, while Peoples Leasing and Fin Services was the worst performer of the session, declining 7.69 percent.
