
DHAKA – The Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS) has announced 400 fully-funded PhD fellowships for the 2026-27 academic year. To be eligible for the fellowship, applicants must be new, full-time PhD students with a strong academic background, research potential, leadership qualities, and good communication skills. Proof of English language proficiency is also required.
The application process has two stages: first, applicants must submit an initial application to the HKPFS electronic system. They then must use the provided reference number to apply to two of the eight specified universities in Hong Kong. The final deadline for application submission is December 1, 2025.
