DHAKA – The Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS) has announced 400 fully-funded PhD fellowships for the 2026-27 academic year. The program aims to attract talented and creative young researchers from around the world to pursue a doctorate degree at one of Hong Kong’s top universities at no cost.

To be eligible for the fellowship, applicants must be new, full-time PhD students with a strong academic background, research potential, leadership qualities, and good communication skills. Proof of English language proficiency is also required.

They then must use the provided reference number to apply to two of the eight specified universities in Hong Kong. The final deadline for application submission is December 1, 2025.
