DHAKA – The “Swadhinata Concert,” an event organized by the Shobar Agey Bangladesh Foundation as part of Independence Day celebrations, has been temporarily suspended.

According to a Telegram message from Sayrul Kabir Khan, a member of the BNP Chairperson’s media wing, the decision to postpone the event was made to express solidarity with the people of Gaza and Rafah.

The concert, which was to feature performances from various Bangladeshi artists, was originally scheduled to be held in front of the National Parliament building in Dhaka, with simultaneous concerts in Chattogram, Khulna, and Bogura.
